The air-leg rock drill relies on compressed air to drive the piston to reciprocate. The use of full hydraulic drilling rigs to replace air-leg rock drills is an inevitable trend in the development of coal mine rock tunneling. However, at present, more than 90% of rock tunnels are mainly driven by air-leg rock drilling. The air-leg rock drill is a hand-held, semi-mechanized (manually operated, manual moving equipment) product with a large quantity and a wide range. Its operation and maintenance are convenient, and the price is low.
